Hello there Newgrounds!

I come to you today with a unique and exciting opportunity to create something, all for a good cause! As you can tell, my entrepreneur classes are going very well.

Welcome to the "Diokophobia Charity Art Contest"! (A very catchy name). Allow me to run through it.

WHAT IS "DIOKOPHOBIA"?

First of, the burning question. What actually is "Diokophobia". Well, Diokophobia is the fear of being hunted or chased, but in this case it's the title of my next short film! It's become somewhat of a tradition for OSFilms projects to have a tie-in charity event (following last years MOM Charity Fundraiser).

So, what does the contest actually detail?

CONTEST DETAILS

Anyway. The contest involves creating something (art, animation, game, music, writing, whatever) around the monster from the film! (Pictures at the bottom of this post).

Entrees will be competing to win a share of the prize pool for a charity of their choice. 

Prize pool you say? Yes! Thats where the charity part comes in. If you would like to donate to the prize pool, donate via the "support" page of Newgrounds, and shoot our friend Tom Fulp a message saying it was for this event. (You can participate without donating, but it is vastly appreciated!).

I'm going to go ahead and start us off with a nice crisp $50.

There will be three winners. #1 will win 50% of the pool, donated to their charity of choosing. #2 will win 35% and #3 will win 15%!

All entrees will be in the credits of the film, but the winners will get fancy colours!! That makes it all worth it in my opinion.
